Deep Blue Sea_Grizzly Bear
Here at the MiddaysBedfello I believe that lyrical substance and tenor is best achieved through a song’s rhythm and tone. I feel if a song has a strong verse but a shitty melody ultimately it still makes for shit in the end. Hence the need for good and interesting structure.
Daniel Rossen, frontman of the softest, most mild-tempered pack of grizzlies you’d ever want to shake paws with, is a songwriter who is brilliantly adept in his craft. With ‘Deep Blue Sea’ Rossen and bandmates achieve maximum lyrical impact by taking tiny verse and aligning it perfectly alongside the songs lush, rich dynamics.
just take a listen mister listener and tell me you’re not a bit curious who will stand as deep blue’s next victim.? i am convinced we care only cause the band’s sterling arrangement makes us.
